For over 50 years, Bob was involved in concrete construction, as well as the concrete supply industry. His concrete contracting company was one of the largest in Colorado. Through first-hand experience, Bob had an excellent understanding of the problems caused by expansive soils, so he dedicated himself to developing techniques that could avoid them.

Bob's creative talents allowed him to invent numerous products that prevented damage imposed by expansive soils, and he brought to market many void form products of unsurpassed performance. In addition to products related specifically to expansive soils, he developed twisted wire ties and invented many unique concrete form systems.

Bob continued to improve existing products, develop new products, and work toward reducing production costs associated with the full SureVoid product line. In short, Bob was dedicated to finding simple and cost-effective solutions to complex concrete construction problems.

Bob was a dedicated family man with a heart of gold -- a man that formed an immediate bond with all who had the good fortune to make his acquaintance. We will miss him dearly, and shall remain indebted to him for his numerous contributions to our industry.
