Angle Expansion Strip is a product that reduces the potential for damage caused by vertical movement of concrete slabs.

In use, the Angle Expansion Strip forms the slab edge into an angular shape, down and away from the wall. Shaping the slab edge in this manor prevents a possible binding of the slab-to-wall juncture, allowing the slab to "float". In the event that the slab is lifted by expansive soil, the floating slab minimizes the potential for cracking of the slab, while reducing upward pressures on the wall.
